In Fall 2017, I had the honor of being one of Professor Wilson's students in her Social Media course. Professor Wilson did such a phenomenal job teaching my classmates and I the best ways to utilize social media for our careers. She is a vivid teacher who knows how to engage and keep her students on their toes. Professor Wilson has also served as my Academic Adviser since my sophomore year. She works relentlessly to help other students and I stay on the correct track for a four-year degree.
I hired Heidi as my publicist in 2010 and was very happy with her work. She was able to utilize her extensive social media expertise to raise my internet profile considerably, as well as securing print media placement. Heidi is extremely personable and was great fun to work with, and I highly recommend her services!
Heidi played an AMAZING role in coordinating the PRSA Tar Heel Chapter's Professional Development Seminar on Thursday, October 25, 2012, and I was honored to serve as a speaker for her thoroughly planned event. Heidi enabled me to operate in my purpose, express my passion, and execute my plan so that I could empower the people who attended this awesome event. I'm truly grateful for Heidi's invitation! Thank you for allowing me to share my gift.

It has been an absolute pleasure having Heidi as a colleague! I have watched her grow the Mass Communications department at VUU, and her efforts have resulted in the department being identified as an academic niche area. Her programming, social media presence and collaborations with other campus units highlight her ability to work with others in a manner that is appealing to students. Heidi is a faculty member that truly understands the value of student success and she is to be commended for her hard work and diligence!
It's not very common to find a professor that is professionally well balanced, driven, and also passionate about her students. I had the pleasure of meeting Professor Wilson at Virginia Union University as my Social Media instructor last year and I have maintained a relationship with her ever since. I was greatly astonished with her ability to effectively merge class instruction with real world employment task and preparation. She perfectly segues class room teachings and knowledge into tools required in the Mass Communications field thusly, leading to employment for her students. Oh, in addition to all of these great attributes you'll never have to worry about her being tardy, she has the mindset of: if you're late then you may as well considered yourself absent (ask to see her classroom attendance policies). Nonetheless, Professor Wilson will be a great asset for any employment opportunity. She's active in her community, a professor and Department Chair at Virginia Union University, an advisor (in various ways) and an amazing individual. In any position Professor Wilson is considered for she has my highest recommendation.

Ms. Wilson is one of the hardest working and innovative colleagues at Virginia Union University. In addition, she continues to mentor and cultivate her students in Mass Communications, preparing them for competitive positions in broadcast journalism, and public relations. She is truly an asset to the students and faculty at VUU.
